Workshop and Shed

The original shed had become too small and what was required was significantly more outside storage space. With pet rabbits, garden tools and fishing equipment to consider, the existing shed was demolished to make way for a custom designed two story outbuilding to provide the storage and work spaces needed.

The finished project has a large workshop and tool store with separate fishing tackle storage room on the ground floor, plus an outdoor toilet. The second floor provided a home for the rabbits, a large garden tool storage space and a work area.

As with many of MBM’s projects, the build had to not only be strong and weather resistant but also sympathetic to its hillside location in a conservation area. Using modern technology with traditional materials, MBM was able to create a space that had the aesthetic of a traditional outbuilding in-keeping with its surroundings with the security and safety of modern build technology.
